In California for a photo workshop….

So here I am, sitting in a coffee shop in Irvine, CA waiting for the Sports Shooter Acedemy to start.  I got here a bit early, but I wanted to get to know the area a little bit and relax a little before the workshop starts.  For anyone who isn’t familiar with what the SSA is, check out THIS LINK.  It should be an interesting few days to say the least.  We will have to wait and see if it will top this weekend, where I was literally running from event to event trying to transmit images in my truck as I drove down the road…Always a good time.

Yesterday was a blast, as I shot the University of Texas Spring Jamboree football game at Darell K Royal-Memorial Stadium here in Austin.  The Longhorns put on a good show your boy Colt managed to throw a couple of passes (interceptions are still passes, right 🙂  )  Colt_McCoy_Longhorn_Football

I kid, I kid.  It was a blast standing around and getting sun burnt for the third day in a row.  I had a small gallery live HERE, but it doesn’t seem to be online anymore.  That either means the photos were terrible or someone bought them all.  ha!  Guess you have your days.

Now for some fun….I’m going to jump in my Chevy Colbalt – aka deathbox – and go cruising to my new living quarters for the week.  -PM
